Originally a graduate of Political Science, Bassem combines professional strengths in the fields of media and governmental and intergovernmental relations, media and international cooperation, and marketing. His experience in international media and business development in the Egyptian government, and later, in sales and marketing at one of the largest media services companies in the Middle East, has enabled him to possess skills in communication, organization of events, detailed development of plans, and a deep understanding of media related issues. In his free time, Bassem enjoys a life of sports and fitness, reading political books, and traveling whenever possible.
