Khaled was born in Cairo, Egypt in September 1978. Earning a masters degree in marketing management from Mastricht school of management in 2009. In November 2000, Mr. Marei started his career at Arab Intl. Co. For Knitting and Garments a family owned business, where he learned business ethics from his father before anything else. He added new solutions for the supply chain as well as enhancements for the brand image and sales channels. He then took off the shields and jumped into the middle of the textile and fashion industry to be specialised in fashion marketing, starting from the Brand Manager for Pierre Cardin in SETA Textiles, moving to the Marketing Manager for SHATEX Home Collection within the same group, followed by the last stop in the fashion industry as the Marketing Manager for CONCRETE. Mr. Marei has managed to prove the ability to shift between industries by moving to the food FMCG industry, as the marketing manager for Wadi Food since 2010, during which Mr. Marei has elevated the brand image, enriched the positioning and maximized profitability.
